Latest News: Community Engagement Hub

Columbia College Chicago has launched a new community engagement hub on campus to promote and support the work of the college within the community of its surrounding South Loop neighborhood and the City of Chicago. The public is welcome to visit the displays and connect with the college through the hub.

Current Display: BordersCruzadas: A Collaborative Story is an ongoing research project by photographers Oscar B. Castillo and Wil Sands, which compiles documentary photography, video, archival materials, and personal and political discourse to present the physical and symbolic boundaries that form America’s borders. The resulting images and documents not only provide tangibility to an abstract space but engage the documentary subjects as participants in the telling of their own stories.

Spring Semester 24 Public Hours:

Monday – 12 PM to 5 PM

Wednesday – 10 AM to 12 PM

Thursday – 9 AM to 12 PM

Saturday 9 AM m to 1 PM
